Introduction
Castle Pay, Inc. (“Castle” “Company,” “we,” or “us”) provides technology solutions to improve the homeownership experience through our mobile application and internet based services (our “Platform”).
At Castle, we take your privacy seriously. Please read this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to learn how we treat your personal data. By using or accessing our Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined below, and you hereby consent that we will collect, use and share your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Remember that your use of Castle’s Services is at all times subject to our Terms of Service which incorporates this Privacy Policy. Any terms we use in this Policy without defining them have the definitions given to them in the Terms of Service.

Children Under the Age of 18
Our Platform is not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any information to or on the Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on this Platform or on or through any of its features. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Platform, including the following information:
- Identifiers: Unique information that allows a person to be identified, including name, address, email, IP address, among other common identifiers.
- Characteristics about you: Information that describes a person or a feature that distinguishes a person, such as their gender or age, or marital status.
- Consumer transactional data: Information regarding what products or services a person has purchased or considered purchasing, consumption patterns, or even personal property.
- Internet or "online” activity: A person’s browsing history and other device or network-related data. Examples include browsing history, search history , information regarding a user's interaction with a website, app, or advertisement.
- Sensory Data: information that is recorded or detected by the senses, such as a recording of a person's conversation or voicemails to customer care or sales agents.
- Geolocation data: A person's physical location or movements through an Internet-connected device, such as a browser, computer, or mobile device.
- Inferences or personalized profiles: Our understanding of a person’s preferences and behavior based on use of our Platform.
- Financial information: Bank account information, payment history, credit card and debit card information, payments information. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument. We collect this information in the following ways:
- Directly from you when you provide it to us through the Platform (see “Information You Provide to Us”).
- Automatically as you navigate through the Platform. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's camera (see “Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies).
- From third parties, for example, third party vendors who help us with identity verification, other financial institutions with whom you have an account, other vendors or service providers with whom you have an account (e.g. utility companies), and publicly available information (e.g. property statistics, MLS photos, tax assessor information).
Information You Provide to Us
The information we collect on or through our Platform may include:
- Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Platform. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Platform, posting materials, or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Platform.
- Information you provide by uploading images through your camera or photo library.
- Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.
- Details of transactions you carry out through our Platform and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before scheduling a payment, placing an order or completing an application through our Platform (e.g. completing an application for a financial product or service).
- Details of your use of our Platform, including your interaction with all applications and services offered by our Platform.
- Information about your financial history including information regarding your financial accounts, other asset value and home value, payment history, tax and insurance about your properties, documents associated with your loans, credit score and credit history, bank account details, and offers.
Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies.
As you navigate through and interact with our Platform, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:
- Details of your visits to our Platform, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Platform.
- Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.
The information we collect automatically may include personal information, or we may maintain it or associate it with personal information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. It helps us to improve our Platform and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to:
- Estimate our audience size and usage patterns.
- Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our Platform according to your individual interests.
- Speed up our services.
- Recognize you when you return to our Platform.
- Record certain information about your sessions on our Platform.

The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:

However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Platform. - Analytics Software such as Heap Analytics and Google Analytics to collect data of the use of our Platform and services.

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

- To enable easy payments to your selected third party vendors and other payees.
- To present our Platform and its contents to you.

- For development, such as to improve the content and features of the Platform.
Anonymized and aggregated, or de-identified data. We may also collect, use, and disclose your information in an anonymized and aggregated, or de-identified form (that does not identify you personally) for our business purposes.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this Privacy Policy:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To your vendors, service providers and other third party payees. We may disclose the information you provide and make available to your vendors, service providers and other third party payees, in order to facilitate the services available on our Platform. If you have questions about the privacy practices of any third parties you interact with through the Platform, please contact them directly. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them. These third parties may include:

- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Castle’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Castle about our Platform users is among the assets transferred.

- To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
- With your consent, for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
We may also disclose your personal information:

- To enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Castle, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Anonymized and aggregated, or de-identified data. We may disclose anonymized and aggregated, or otherwise de-identified information about our users without restriction.
Sweepstakes, Contests, and Promotions
We may offer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions (any, a “Promotion”) that may require registration. By participating in a Promotion, you are agreeing to the official rules that govern that Promotion, which may contain specific requirements of you, including, except where prohibited by law, allowing the sponsor(s) of the Promotion to use your name, voice, likeness, or other indicia of persona in advertising or marketing associated with the Promotion. If you choose to enter a Promotion, your Personal Information may be disclosed to third parties or the public in connection with the administration of such Promotion, including, without limitation, in connection with winner selection, prize fulfillment, and as required by law or permitted by the Promotion’s official rules, such as on a winner’s list.

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

- Email Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your email address used by us to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt out by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our marketing emails or texting “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” in response to any marketing text messages, or by sending us an email stating your request to support@getcastle.com.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You can review and change your personal information by logging into the Platform and visiting your account profile page. When you update information, however, we may maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records to the extent necessary for legal compliance purposes and where permitted by applicable law.
You may also send us an email at support@getcastle.com to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions and traffic to and from our Platform and services will be encrypted using SSL technology.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Platform, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Platform. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Platform.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will notify you by email to the primary email address specified in your account or through a notice on the Platform home page. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our Platform and this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.
